Saw the race this morning and not much to write home about to be honest even the midfield battles were a bit poor too. One thing I did take is why weren't RB updating Checo on where Max was and optimising his strategy unless they're (obviously) favouring Max and/or have ordered Checo to back off! Shame it'd be great for those two to have locked horns (like Rosbeg and Hamilton) this season but doesn't look like that'll happen now. Outside of the Bull's it's all a bit same old, Alonso's making the difference at Aston Martin, Mercs seem static, Ferrari p***-poor only Haas and Alfa Romeo had a decent race yesterday albeit scrapping for the lower points. Kind of glad I went to Miami for my own reasons recently and not for this race not a very exciting track, the first BTCC race at Brands yesterday had more action than F1's 'show' does these days.

The teams that have brought upgrades thus far haven't made a dent in the order. It will be interesting to see what Ross Brawn comes up with as a solution to the current situation.

Did you enjoy Miami Dirty Epic? I know this is very off topic but it is an F1 race place so just hanging on to being on topic. I've always thought Florida would be an amazing tourist destination. In my mind I've always thought the beaches, the alligators/wildlife and space center would be a good start. What was your highlight?

When I went, the highlight was the 2 hour drive to Clearwater. Some of the restaurants there were superb. Gene.

The last two races have been a snooze fest. The razzmatazz around the paddock in Miami was ridiculous. I can't watch that Netflix rubbish that is a big part of all this off track showbiz circus. Come back Bernie Eccleston I liked the first few series of the netflix series of 'Drive to Survive'. I was looking forward to watching last year's presentation but I was very disappointed in it. I'd prefer less production values and less storyline objectives and more just film what they witness! I liked the early series learning about Carlos Sainz's family etc. I've only followed F1 since 2013 so I didn't know that Carlos' Dad was an F1 legend so it is good to learn that type of history.
I love Dan Ricciardo but his playing up to the netflix cameras drives me crazy.

I also have felt the red carpet rubbish surrounding F1 (particularly in America) has spoiled my enjoyment of a sport that I really like.
I enjoy watching the international tennis opens but I don't want to see the Williams' sisters on the pitlane! And I don't want to see celebs interviewed there. Old drivers are the only exception. Yes I do want to see Sir Jackie Stewart in his tartan pants. He deserves to be there but push the others off the track!
Sure, give us a quick camera shot to show who is in the garages but that's it. When I was at the Aust GP I was excited to spot Nicole Kidman in the Ferrari garage but she wasn't interviewed, just enjoying her day. Focusing on the actual race predictions or news about the teams is far better for fans.

Monaco is a visual feast on tv. It is one of my favourite race tracks. I watch all the practice races, qualifying and the race, though the race is probably the least exciting of all these as we all know the difficulty of passing on this street circuit.
My Practice runs summary:
- Alex Albon, Logan Sargeant, Hulkenberg and Norris hit the walls
-When a Ferrari hit the wall, I though "Oh No not again Charles". Of course it turned out to be Carlos Sainz. I can't see Charles Leclerc ever winning at his home track. The pressure is too great. Won't be this year anyway.
Qualifying: - Though pole position is a prized place I think Fernando Alonso may do better in second position behind Max. He will certainly be putting the pressure on Max and hopefully wear him down or exhaust him mentally. Fernando for a win would be a true celebration for all i Monaco (except Red Bull)
- Bad luck Sergio Perez crashing our on qualifying. Starting 20th is a big disappointment.

Yes it was brilliant BG it was a last minute winter sun deal in December, only had 4-5 days but really enjoyed it. I was mainly in the city (everything from Little Havana to Wynwood) but did get out to South Beach too. Would definitely like to go back BG!
