Gwen's role in Big Brother was quite distinctive/substantial compared to most of Jack's other girlfriends. She could've come back in a future episode I suppose.

Am I the only one who's only just noticed that both of Jack's girlfriends in 'Big Brother' & 'On The Run' have the surname Knightly? Anne & Pat. Also both episodes begin very similarly with Carter interrupting Regan's time off with both women.

I rewatched Big Brother last night - third or fourth viewing I'd guess
I rate it as one of the better episodes in Series Two
Regan's violent reputation catches up with him when even George is unsure whether to give him the benefit of the doubt when a suspect collapses in custody with a ruptured kidney.
Whilst it's a rock solid 4 out of 10 I can't help but feel it could have ratcheted up the tension more than it did. Little was made of Scottish hitman Eddie Swan and it just sort of petered out when Deacon Jr tells big brother Phil it wasn't Regan that gave him the kicking whilst, simultaneously, Regan and Carter have arrested the pimp responsible for the assault.
Does Gwen Taylor appear in any other episodes? Or is she another of Jack's one off girlfriends?
4/5
Yes, it is a bit of a let down in terms of tension. Bit rich from George though, when in Jackpot they seem to imply he gives Biggleswade a good hiding.

Wasn't there another Nightly in "Taste Of Fear" where they were searching through names, George makes a comment about knowing here sister "twice". I could be mistaken however, I know I've heard that joke somewhere though.
