Don't mind a bit of Jamiroquai now and then.

Some good picks there Del, have to agree: I like the first 3 you mentioned and I don't mind a bit of funk every so often, and quite liked Jamiroquai's first 3 albums which I got as cassettes in the 90's, as they had such likeable 70's sound, which tailed off a bit in later years.

Another one I've just thought of is Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits. I mentioned once before about songs which can take you off to another time and place and this one does for me. I imagine it's a cold night in early 79 (when the song was out) and I've just come in from the cold, flurries of snow are falling and it's totally brass monkeys, I hear the song coming from a pub, it's somewhere in London, in a Sweeney/Del Boy/Arthur Daley type area and the band are playing this great song live as I warm up...

Tremendous song Cartman, one of their very best along with Romeo & Juliet.
