1 week today and we will all be on the manor again for one of Gene’s legendary meets! Really looking forward to seeing everyone again! The Saint Indeed. Gene, great job so far, you just need to sort the weather on the day as it looks a bit variable ..................

1 week today and we will all be on the manor again for one of Gene’s legendary meets! Really looking forward to seeing everyone again! The Saint Indeed. Gene, great job so far, you just need to sort the weather on the day as it looks a bit variable .................. In the 17+ years I've been doing them we've had two where it has rained. Rain did not stop play though. Looking at the 7 day forecast some are saying the odd shower during the day, some are saying overcast start but sunny intervals from lunch time onwards. I'll reserve judgement until nearer to the weekend when the forecasts tend to be a little more accurate. As I say though, even if it p***es down it won't spoil the fun. Gene.

The last 12 weeks or so are finally behind us, the squad is primed and ready to go and the weekend will no doubt be a cracker Good to look through what we are doing again, top draughtsmanship Gene. I'd take the weather forecast with a pinch of salt. I've been trying to find a day to do the garden and they have got things completely wrong a few times lately, Weathermen

Only three or four days left now then. I also got my reminder from the hotel yesterday. I'm really looking forward to seeing Chiswick for the first time this weekend.
I should be arriving in Chiswick at about 5pm on Saturday hopefully in time to participate in the evening pub crawl.
Charles.

Astonishingly rapid passage of days these last few weeks and the giant 140ft high egg timer strategically placed in the field opposite my abode has nearly run its course.
The sands of time should be exhausted by about 07:53 on Sunday morning, give or take a few final grains, at which point it will be time to head to the hallowed ground of Colet Gardens for a bumper seventies Sunday with like-minded individuals. Marvellous.
