Always preferred Regan’ over the other two movies! and also think the soundtrack and library music had a 60s feel to it! The music used for Regan always reminds me of Roy Budds theme to Get Carter

Ah interesting and not noticed it before Regan's perchance for Air Hostesses. .....and the on the Malta flight in Sweeney 2 too. That was quite simply because it was Diana Weston. The fact she was an air hostess was neither here nor there Gene. Oh yeah!

I guess with Get Carter done in 1970’ meant probably that it had more of a 60s influence than a 70’s lol obviously because the new decade had just begun! Suppose one could keep applying this theory as each decade as gone on from one to another! Although times seem less apparent today if ya know what I mean! but don’t ask me why, but I guess my favourite era would be 1965/1975

It'd be interesting to see how Sweeney would have turned out - had Get Carter or French Connection not been made.

If you watch The French Connection you can see the influence clearly, compare the scene below with the scene in Ringer where Regan & Carter chase & corner Billy Martin.
