It was the first episode I ever saw, around 2006. It definitely made me take a punt on the first series box set when i saw it for £15 in HMV or Virgin. It didn't take long to get the rest of them!

“I can’t say I blame her. Even I fancy you with that moustache” “Give us a kiss!” Oh dear! More undercover! Whoever decided moustaches without beards were a good idea? Few lovely glimpses of 70s decor in this one. It must have been a constant migraine with the combination of patterned carpet and every wall of wallpaper. Not sure I’m too keen on the amount of blows taken by Jack in this particular episode :( They use a lot of locations, don’t they? I mean there aren’t many scenes in the station, comparatively speaking. I guess it’s a bit easier when you are in the right decade! But it must have cost a fair whack. I wondered how intentional it was when (I’m sorry I still haven’t got all the names) ran out of the phone box and jumped in the back of the car but it seemed to move quite a distance with his leg still on the road! “Jack Regan, this is your life”. That scene (still not sure exactly what they were climbing on at the end? Must have taken some choreography!

I don't mind this episode really. I liked the idea of Regan being undercover.
And perhaps I'm wrong but I didn't think Jack looked too bad with that moustache.
He looked a lot better than Carter did with that wig in 'Lady Luck'
Charles.

I have no issue with undercover, there just seems to be a lot of it about! :) I can see why you of all people may be arguing the case of moustaches without beards ... but it’s a no from the jury :p Carter in a wig. That sounds ... erm ... interesting!

Typical Sweeney type location Gene. The power of good location selection! You'd never guess that the gasworks is barely 200 metres from where Jack dropped Fran off at The Halfway House at the beginning of the episode. Sam.
