Good episode this, I watched it this morning in fact. Good spot there Arthur with the cuddly toys and thanks for posting the TV times listings I too wondered exactly what the "Onion" meant, I guessed it was the bad guy or person to blame/responsible, "The one what done it" Also in that scene I noticed it was Timothy Lumsden's father From Sorry, Language Timothy Also the use of the word Cozzer in this episode too. I think Jack played the part well as a Driver and I liked the way he stitched Fran up towards the end with Denny and the key and "She fancied me next" Great acting from Inspector Regan. always liked this episode since I first got the box set, I'd never seen it prior to that.

John Forgeham has died aged 75. A troubled man by all accounts but a charismatic actor.
I read that he married Georgina Hale aged 21, the marriage ended after 18 months.

RIP John Forgeham - also known for The Italian Job and a bent DS in The Professionals episode "Takeaway". Wasn't he also a non speaking bystander in The "WHTTLL" episode where Terry and Bob go off on their cycle ride and as Forgeham was seen just as they set off??

Sorry for no link but I read the other day that he had passed away aged 75. Always played the tough guy and a bit hard work in real life I believe. Sorry if its already be posted elsewhere on here.

Yes I’ve seen John Forgeham in several tough roles, he had the face for it, sad loss.
i watched this episode earlier today and thought it was a middling one. I couldn’t get used to Jack with a tache driving a lorry, incidentally, a Bedford TK in the first scenes, and an Austin in the hijack.
Overall, I think series 2/3 are my favourites, the dynamics of the squad, the relationship between the leads had developed and the programme was at its best by then.
