Yeah started to get pretty blowy from about midday, but hardly any damage round my area thankfully, save for a few blown over wheelie bins and plastic buckets, one of which I picked up and placed in my neighbours front again. Not as bad expected although I know other areas haven't been so lucky.

It was snowing this morning, at least it was in Lancs where I live. Mostly turned to slush now.

Oh, no fires are deemed to be not environmentally friendly now.

It was snowing this morning, at least it was in Lancs where I live. Mostly turned to slush now. My work took me to Burnley today along with other places. It was snowing quite hard there about 1.30pm and had started to settle but when I got to Preston about 2.30pm it was clear there Steed

Someone filmed the eye of the storm at Heathrow too, not really watched this let alone the 7 hour marathon here.
The guy runs this channel as a full time job. Being a bit of an aviation nut, I've watched the odd one or two of his live streams over the past year or so. On Friday his viewing figures shot up to 250,000 at one point with many non-geeks tuning in for hours, fascinated by the Partridge soundalike commentary about the skill of the pilots.
