Sad news! My first recollection of Tony was in the 70's series "Get Some In" with Robert Lindsay and from then he seemed to mainly appear as guest actor in all manner of series but being very adaptable between comedy and straight roles. Another series I do remember seeing him in was the 90's series "Love Hurts" with Adam Faith and Zoe Wannamaker. R.I.P. Tony

Sad news - RIP Tony Selby, a distinctive actor who I thought was good in everything I saw him in whether straight roles or comic. I too first knew of him in "Get Some In" and he seemed an affable fellow off screen too.

Sad news!! He did a lot of stuff over the years and played a great part in queen's Pawn, because he was quite menacing, yet he was not ya stereotype typical villain.. RIP

Very sad news and always liked Tony's roles in various things along the years and not just things like The Sweeney or Villain. I might give his Callan or Special Branch episode a spin in tribute to him. RIP Tony thanks very much for you contribution to film and TV including a few things I like a lot.

RIP I really like him in Villain (one of my favourite flicks) and I wish he'd have had a bit more screen time in that...!! A sad loss but he will live on in so many things that were committed to celluloid...
