Last night I viewed my new box set of The Persuaders on blu-ray, the location shots look amazing, possibly even better than The Professionals blu-rays, but the scenes on studio sets, whilst fantastically crisp and clear in terms of picture quality lack the realistic feel of The Pros and The Sweeney that were shot on location. The car scenes where the actors sit in the motors with footage playing behind them actually looks worse on blu-ray as you can see how poor the original production of those scenes was when filmed. Overall though a very impressive box set and beautifully packaged. The Saint

Might have something to do with the presence of an Aston Martin DBS or a Ferrari Dino. What were you driving at the time Davy ?

Reading TC autobiography, interesting exchange of views he said he had with Joan Collins on set.
Also, an excellent episode was 'The Man In The Middle' with Terry Thomas.

I'm not sure that TC & JC got along too well.
I liked the Terry Thomas episode. Stanley Meadows (Harry Poole in Sweeney 'The Placer') had a support part in that, with a different hairstyle to his regular back-combed one.
