Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music are one of the greatest rock music bands of all time. They had lots of success in the UK chart between 1972 and 1982 - although they disbanded in 1976, reuniting in 1978.
Here's some classic tracks..

An overlooked gem that went into the top 30, early in 1976.
Not sure where this clip is from, 'Supersonic' possibly?

The band made several appearances on The Old Grey Whistle Test during the '70s. This is one of my favourites from 1973.

Hard to think that their only number 1 single was a cover version.

I don't know that song at all but watching the vid clip made me think that the back up singers seemed very much like Agnetha and Frida from ABBA. When the camera showed them from the back it seemed like a purposeful choice, as the ABBA girls were so popular. I think my two favourite Roxy Music songs would be -

It can be hard to tell which are Roxy Music songs, and which are Bryan Ferry songs.
It can be the same with Paul McCartney/Wings, Rod Stewart/The Faces, Phil Collins/Genesis.
But I like most of Bryan's solo singles, as well as Roxy's.
Of Bryan's, 'This Is Tomorrow' and Tokyo Joe' are particular favourites.
Of Roxy's, 'The Same Old Scene' and 'Avalon'.
