Cheers Brownie, lots to see here. Rest assured that I'll be on the lookout for funny food and classic motors too.

You can hire a Trabant, if you want, and go on a tour of the city. Are they considered classic cars ?

A Trabant? That's no motor to take Raquel and Damien in, they're used to something a bit more top-end like the Capri Ghia.
Maybe keep an eye out for a decent Taunus or something like that.
Have a good one Del-Boy, no doubt you'll be doing a bit of import / export while you're there?

Trabant's were all the rage in the DDR. Virtually everyone had one. I reckon Del Boy would like this version to rent :-

My mate's got 2 Trabbies & a Wartburg. They're really nippy little things to drive.

It turns out that my hotel is located near to a couple of the Funeral in Berlin locations at the Europa Centre. I photographed a couple of them and will start a thread later for them. There is a scene In the movie where Harry Palmer is on the roof of the Europa Centre tower in front of the revolving Mercedes star. I would have loved to have gone up there but the roof has been closed to the public since 1992. The city of Berlin as many of you know is a fantastic place to visit. I found it very easy to get around thanks to Barry's advice on public transport The major difference I could see between London and Berlin is that Berlin doesn't really get going until 10 and in a lot of cases 12pm. I turned up at the shop recommend by Steve Austin to find it closed until 12 and unfortunately couldn't get back there later.
