3000 years? That's a bit iffy. I can say hand on heart that I lived before around the time of the first world war and I have photo evidence of it: That was me, second from left. Sam.

What are you doing with Myra Hindley? Odd but true family claim to fame alert : I found out at my Dad's funeral two years ago that his (much) elder brother was the arresting officer when Myra Hindley was nicked, just a few days after Ian Brady (she was initially only taken in for questioning and not arrested straight away). We already knew that he was involved in the searches up on the moors, but not that he actually nicked her. Villain

I watched this Armchair Theatre play a few days ago, 'The Trial Of Dr Fancy' by Clive Exton. I know Clive Exton from a few things, he wrote the screenplay for '10 Rillington Place' but had no idea what to expect from this play, it turned out to be a bizarre & hilarious black comedy that proved to be quite controversial at the time it was written, if you watch it you'll discover why. It's one of those plays that gets progressively funnier as it goes along with a brilliant ending.
Btw, this play was directed by the man who did the first Rambo film, 'First Blood'.
