Yeah spot on! Guess it’s like a double album consisting of transformer and a load of other stuff!

Lou Reed - Rock N Roll Animal (1974) Previous album Berlin was a commercial disaster, so RCA whacked out this live album which, by contrast, was a huge success in America. Guitarists Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter riff furiously throughout and turn Velvets favourites (Heroin, Sweet Jane, White Light/White Heat and Rock 'n’ Roll) into full on stadium rawk.
These “metalled up” arrangements are powerful but not really my thing.
That said, every now and again it’s fun to play loud and imagine being at Howard Stein's Acadamey Of Music in New York for the concert.
Great cover too - max Glam

Rock Galaxy I think is hard to get hold of these days.. Pale Blue Eyes is just an absolute classic! But if there’s ever a Karaoke anywhere I’ll always have a bash at Perfect Day Lol!

Lou Reed - Sally Can’t Dance (1974) Maligned by Lou, and many critics too. I’m not sure why. Yes, it’s generally Lou at his most laid back and restrained, perhaps aiming for the growing US FM radio audience, but that’s not a bad thing. From the early days of The Velvets he was penning sweet little love songs alongside the more visceral and/or experimental songs. Sally Can’t Dance requires a bit of patience but there are some good songs here, and it works as a cohesive listening experience too My favourites tracks are: Ride Sally Ride, NY Stars, Kill Your Sons, Sally Can’t Dance, and Billy

Lou Reed - Lou Reed Live (1975)
Having hit big with Rock N Roll Animal, RCA repeated the trick with Lou Reed Live. The content is even taken from the exact same series of concerts as Rock N Roll Animal
As with Rock N Roll Animal, what we get are "full fat" versions of old favourites with Lou and the band giving it their all. It features three songs from Transformer, one song from The Velvet Underground and two songs from Berlin
I particularly like the version of Berlin’s “Oh Jim”
And, as with Rock N Roll Animal, it’s sometimes fun to play loud and imagine being at Howard Stein's Acadamey Of Music in New York for the concert.

Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music (1975) What did Lou Reed have in mind when he made Metal Machine Music? Some suggest he was trying to escape his record contract with RCA. Lou Reed generally sidestepped the issue over the years, though he summed it up quite neatly in one interview in which he deadpanned, "Anyone who gets to side four is dumber than I am". Sounds about right. I love Lou but this album is unlistenable. Don't be fooled by latter day pseudo-intellectual musings that seek to sell it to you. The joke's on you if you part with cash to own it. I briefly owned the double vinyl album. The same multi layered white noise across all four sides of vinyl with no rhythms, melodies, or formal structures to buffer the onslaught.

That’s quite frustrating!! You should never be a sheep in life! Lol! maybe this is an example of where to artist changes his style to suit the trend of what people want in life or its down to the record company so to push for greater record sales! But I’ll take your word for it Lord Em’ I won’t be bothering listening!
