No, Carty, but I read the report this morning, sounds like the chappie did rather well, he certainly looked fitter than Fury.

Anyone stay up to watch Fury v Nganno? I did and, TBH, was surprised at the points (split) decision of the judges to give it to Fury, Nganno I thought had the better of him, putting him down at one point. Have to agree. Ngannou was better than Fury, who just looked like he'd not trained at all. Politics played a part in the final result. One thing is for sure, if Fury fights like that against Usyk he will be well and truly beaten. Gene.

I watched it and Fury took the first three rounds lightly and he paid the price for it. Fury looked rusty and lacked fitness but I thought after the flooring he took it more seriously and controlled the rest of the fight mainly with the jab as Ngannu was looking for big counters. I might watch it again and try to score it to see if it was as close as people on twitter have had it. So many opinions over there have said it was fiddled. It certainly was the best crossover fight I've seen, it was even better than the last Chisora fight IMO. All in all there were some big punches from both fighters but it was Ngannu who took a lot of the credit and Fury got a warm up.

I recently watched Larry Holmes vs Spinks 1 and 2. You might recall these were history making bouts that had records on offer for the victor. You may also recall there was drama and controversy regarding the results, the judging and the comments after the fights. I won't spoil it here but having watched them in full for the first time since the mid 80s, I was surprised at how the bouts went for different reasons. The styles and size differences made these fights play out not as you would expect in both bouts.
The records on offer in the first match were for, Holmes, a chance to equal the best ever undefeated heavyweight record of 49-0 set by Marciano. And for Spinks, a chance to be the first ever world light-heavyweight champion to win the world heavyweight title.
Click the watch on youtube below for the first bout

Anyone watch the Wilder and Joshua fights? I thought Wilder was quite poor and did well to go the distance, to me he was easily outpointed by Parker.
Joshua was good, although a bit of a mismatch, that Miller seemed a bit out of his depth

Joshua was good, although a bit of a mismatch, that Miller seemed a bit out of his depth Watched bits of it and from what I did see, Wilder has lost it. Maybe Fury did a lot of psychological damage last time out. Joshua has raised his game slightly but as you say Carty, it seemed a bit of a mismatch to me. I still don't think Joshua would worry either Fury or Usyk. Gene.

I watched these bouts and Wilder looks finished. Parker bossed the fight. Joshua looked in the best form for several fights.

Fury v Usyk has been postponed until May, due to Fury getting injured while sparring. Rumours are going round that he got put on the floor a couple of times and he's out of condition, and the long delay might give him a chance to get to full fitness. He didn't impress in his last fight against Nganno.
Maybe he's trying to dodge Usyk?

I've heard the rumours, some are saying Fury is trying to duck the bout, however I disagree with that and believe it will go ahead. Its going to interesting to see the outcome of this match because I feel Fury's lack of action over the last couple of years plays into the hands of Usyk.

Stayed up last night for all four and a half minutes of Joshua v Nganno. It did surprise me, as Nganno impressed me in his previous fight against Fury, but as soon as AJ put him down in the first round, it looked on the cards..
