Happy belated New-Year to all.
Apologies for the delay, as we returned home to find some first-class W*nker had reversed into the front garden fence overnight. So had to do a bit of hasty carpentry in the dark, drizzle with two flatish Dewalt drill batteries.... Could have been Santa. Any sign of reindeer sh@t? No sign of Reindeer poo. Had a look on CCTV, looks like it was a Taxi - who'd used the drive across the road to spin round, reversed across the pavement - and forgot he had a tow bar.
Done a tempory bodge in the dark on the Fence - will do it properly tommorrow.
Cracked open a nice drink from the fridge!

Sigh. The one group of people who (hopefully) weren't drunk driving! Nice of him to stop, though ...

We had a bloke who had some sort of fit as he was passing our house and fell and demolished part of our low fence. Since we looked after him you'd have though he would have had the decency to come round later and offer a few quid or something. Obviously not.

I hope he was ok but yes, you’d think once he’d recovered he might have helped to fix the damage if he were able. Perhaps just very embarrassed?

I think he was ok after hospital treatment. Maybe embarrassed but he wasn’t a kid so should have been able to cope with that. Hey ho, life moves on!
