Not 100% sure but hasn't UFO been on Forces TV and/or Horror recently? It used to be a mainstay with Space: 1999 on ITV4 up until about 5 or so years ago. Space is on Horror at the moment.

I always think programmes like UFO, which were set in the not too distant future portray it as a slightly exaggerated version of what was the latest trends of the time they were being filmed. The film Back to the Future did quite a bit of research of what it could be like in 2015....
Some things they got right - some totally far fetched (and still are today).
The "Digital 3D" cinema in Back to the Future 2 (in 2015) isn't far off what we have now.
We still haven't invented Time Travel though.... (Though it is possible - on paper according to Tesla and Einstien).
I have no belief in time travel becoming reality, if it was possible then where is everyone?! Anyway, they haven't sorted rail travel let alone time travel.

I thought that UFO club on Tott Court Road had closed by 1969. Wasn't "Hoppy" Hopkins who ran it locked up for a short spell?
Who's on stage in the photo - Pink Floyd?

Cracking Theme tune and title sequence.

Wow ! What a fantastic look behind the scenes. I just love all the skill on display here in the various different roles required to get a quality programme made. Thanks Sparky.

I think I may have a few more, so stand by (for action) Bear with me, as I went belly up playing football with my son this afternoon - on concrete and ended up with a badly grazed hands making it awkward to type. Moral of the story - I'm too old for that stuff!

Piece of trivia on Back to the Future is that the charachter of Biff was based on Donald Trump! Wonder if they knew something at the time we now know!

I must have resembled one of Fred Dibnahs chimneys collapsing... or Trigger falling through the bar.... My son going "Did ya' like thaaat?" didn't help matters either.
