Loads of great themes listed, in particular "Whatever happened to the Likely Lads" and "Roobarb and Custard"!

Rainbow - I preferred the instrumental version they used to play at the end of the programme - it kind of had a live feel to it.
Southbank Show theme I remember vivdly, as it was on a Sunday Night - past my bedtime - so would be novelty to see it. I loved the drawn titles that used to morph together - stop frame animation at its finest. This piece of music features in Andrew Lloyd-Webbers "Song and Dance"; and plays a major part in the 2nd half of the show "Variations".
Can I add:
Only Fools & Horses Dangerman Return of the Saint The Saint Fall Guy (The Unknown stuntman) Minder (Both the instrumental intro and Dennis Watermans vocal version) Bullseye Avengers
From the local ATV (later Central) programmes front (those who live/lived in the midlands will only really know these ones)
Format V ATV-Today (the 1976-80 version) ATV Star Soccer
Central TV "Theme" (used to open the station every morning) Central Sport

There's been many great shouts on this thread so far This one sticks in the mind from late 70s kids tv. Battle Of The Planets G-Force always five, acting as one. Bonus point for anyone who can name 7Zark7's dog.

Always loved this one. I have a couple of Booker T albums on CD - it doesn't appear on any of them. Does this appear on any of their albums?

I'm not sure Sparky
I have it on a couple of compilations
EDIT:
There's a Booker T & the MG's album called 'Soul Limbo' which, not surprisingly, contains the track
It's also on a 1994 compilation 'The Very Best of Booker T. & the MG's'

They're the two albums I don't have. Grief - look at how young Steve Cropper and Donald "Duck" Dunn are on those covers (long before the Blues Brothers!)
I must get my backside to a few more record fairs. TV Theme collections are becoming quite collectable.
Has anyone also suggested White Horses?
