That's an absolutely marvelous collection BG. I love the model cars. I had so many of those as a kid.. So many happy memories on display there. A great idea.
Gene.

Great collection there. I have a bit of stuff, mostly model trains, my favourites are Triang and Hornby Dublo stuff from the late 50s and 60s. Their locos were practically indestructible and still work brilliantly 60 odd years later!

I actually have two Ker Plunks as picked up another one last year at a boot sale for a couple of quid. They date from 1967. Cartman I also had a bit of model railway stuff but sold it off a few years back as needed the cash. My biggest thing at the moment is adding to the Beetles and campers. I try to pick up a few whenever I can at boot sales and toy fairs.

Cars are probably the easiest thing to find and the bottom shelf below the Beetles are all from my childhood. I'm keeping my eye out for a reasonable priced six million dollar man figure as had one as a kid but God knows where it went.

He's got about 250odd locos now - and more coaching stock that British Rail ever had.
I'll look out for Beetles & Campers - I usually frequent toy fairs!

I've got 11 locos and 15 coaches with, I think, 20 wagons. The locos are a mixture of Triang and Hornby Dublo 2 rail. The coaches are all Triang and Triang Hornby and the wagons are all the Dapol, ex Airfix kits I built and painted.
TL, the Hornby O gauge clockwork isn't really very sought after, the 00 scale is, if its very good. They were churned out in millions from the factory at Binns Road, Liverpool, along with Dinky toys cars, and because they were so strongly made, there's still millions of them about!
