I remember him being interviewed at his home by Alan Titchmarsh on an edition of Pebble Mill, they talked about this record & had a brief slow motion clip of Peter dancing to it at the end. Some info on the record here-
Youtube comment on the video-
"This is not an original....It is a mix that was made 'to appeal to the club audience'....The poem was written by Peter Kayne..There was so much 'excitement' with the making of 'No White Peaks;- recorded in the studios in Canterbury. Personally I believe it should have been kept just simple with the pure and powerful message. As the 'boys' sounded my voice out - This started with looking through Peters song lyrics at my home and saying 'this message' must be put out there now and they took over. Peter Cushing is extraordinary true gentleman I was most blessed to meet and have quality one to one time with a cup of tea and heart to heart at his home. I asked him what he thought about the 'club version' - Peter thought it was amusing to appeal to a club audience then it was suggested to be released as 'white label'....Sometimes the ego blinds or lust for great wealth - evidently undermining the value of Peter and what he wanted. Anyway the original is on youtube somewhere...Peter did this eager to spread the message of peace in our world. Thank you for uploading this..I no longer have the digital master or digital dat and unfortunately not in a position to review re-recording..It is meant to be as it is. The studios 'and boys' have copes of the original works ..I have the treasured memories"
Different version without the dance music-

An early Peter Cushing appearance as a doctor in this road safety film-
Thanks for posting this, Arthur. One of his more well-known early appearances, albeit only briefly, was in the 1940 released Laurel and Hardy film A Chump at Oxford, where he played one of the students. Vi
