Looks fantastic, absolutely straight and true with a brilliant paint job. It's a pity they have to put those damn barriers round her! If it were my motor those barriers would have been even further back. There's no way I'd want Joe public leaning all over it and scratching it or worse - pinching a souvenir off it. I have the greatest respect for well looked after classics, but NHK is in a different league. Gene. Yes, I was only thinking from a photo point of view, further back would be better for that anyway.

Great pictures, can't remember the last time I saw a Citroën GS, Renault 12 or a Simca 1100. I like that red Skoda Octavia too.

Smashing photos Saint! Love the yellow Corgi Capri and the Aston. Mind you, some weirdo rather ruined the NHK pic.

Marvelous selection of photos from both Charlie & The Saint. Thank so much for covering the event for us ST I love that yellow Capri too, but then again, there are at least half a dozen of those motors I'd like to see in my garage, the Skoda NOT being amongst them though Gene.

I had a moment looking at NHK today! I stood and really looked at the details for quite some time, it was so cool to see it in the flesh. But if I'm honest I was a smidge disappointed how it had been presented. I don't know the details of how it was booked to be displayed, but it would have been so much better displayed with some period props or a plinth in my opinion. Sorry for being a little critical here, for some reason in my head I was expecting a fully mint restored car, with perfect chrome and glass - I know Mr Shifter had some challenges sourcing some parts.... maybe my years of looking at concourse cars had made me expect more, especially since the time the restoration had taken to complete. I know they wanted to use as many of the original parts that they could, but they could have polished and finished the chrome better. I think I'd dreamt of seeing something different, and on reflection on the drive home I'm so chuffed to see the completed roadworthy car back in the public community, thanks to those that have been involved in bringing it back to life! Some more smudges I took of my favourites at the show in a Facebook Album: - R32GUY Album (Facebook)My two fave cars were these: 1950 Chevy Styleline - The Renault 17 Turbo was a wow!
