Great pictures courtesy of The Saint and photo hosting by Gene, thanks for posting on here for all our benefit.
No doubt about it, NHK is looking magnificent. Both Mr Shifter and MBVR deserve to be proud of the amazing quality of restoration of this iconic car.

Fantastic photos Saint, thanks for sharing those and thanks to Gene for posting them - it really was quite a feast for the eyes seeing NHK in the metal for the first time since 1975, and hats off to Mr.Shifter and his resto chaps for pulling off such a high quality job (I'd imagine that the relief was palpable when the job was finally finished). I got back from the NEC about an hour ago and I'm just going through my photos, I took over 400 in all which is a bit ridiculous really but well, it's only once a year and all that. As ever there was plenty to see and take in, some of the cars have been there before in recent years but it's always great to see them in the flesh again - the green Citroen SM in particular which still takes my breath away, I want one of those so bad it almost hurts. Likewise the Bahama Yellow Series 2 '69 Lotus Europa that was for sale in the dealer area, I blagged a sit in it for a while and would've happily bought it on the spot. A one owner car since 1970, it's very rare to see one of these that hasn't been modified or turned into a Gold Leaf or JPS replica. The DeTomaso Mangustas and Panteras were a rare treat too, as were the Lamborghini Urraco and Jarama on the Lambo club stand, proper '70s exotica. Despite being a replica, the Miura Jota on the stand was a corker - it's still a real Miura anyway so it was nice to see it, it being the only Jota replica that is to the exact spec of the real McCoy which was sadly destroyed in an accident when a Lamborghini factory mechanic took it for a test drive. Lovely set of pictures Saint & thanks to Gene for posting them in here.
NHK looks fantastic & I'm looking forward to seeing it on Sunday.
Have to say those barriers look hastily thrown around it & the info sheet jammed under a wiper also looks a little rushed. That said they don't detract from the car itself & it's great to see it out & about again after so long.

Looks fantastic, absolutely straight and true with a brilliant paint job.
It's a pity they have to put those damn barriers round her!
Hope The Saint doesn't mind me nicking one of the pics!

Looks fantastic, absolutely straight and true with a brilliant paint job. It's a pity they have to put those damn barriers round her! If it were my motor those barriers would have been even further back. There's no way I'd want Joe public leaning all over it and scratching it or worse - pinching a souvenir off it. I have the greatest respect for well looked after classics, but NHK is in a different league. Gene.
