Hell of a post DE.
I remember it first time around, thought it was pretty good.

Absolutely love Spender. Watched it back when it came out and never missed one. It showed a whole new side to Nail and the stories were great too. I have a ripped copy on DVD but it's not great. Oh how I wish they would release it. If you get the chance read the spender paperback. It's very good. Thanks DE for the review.
And who wanted a sapphire cossie after watching it? I did.

On a side note a couple of days ago I read on Facebook that the Orange VW Beetle driven by Stick still survives which is great news. Apparently the owner bought it not long after the show finished but didn't know until very recently of its appearance in the show. Sorry no pictures but it is still Orange though it has been done up and looks a bit more presentable.

I bloody loved Spender, shame they didn't commission more than the three series, thought it was really good viewing - so good I've just purchased them myself to binge watch!
Thanks for the reminder from this thread

Thanks for the reminder from this thread Me too. One of my favourite all time series. Watched it religiously when it came out. Straight away wanted a cossie. Never happened, unless my numbers come up.

Thought it would become a Tango can for sure in 1993 but still show's anything is salvageable!
Checking the web it seems it's been in preservation since at least 2004 although looks like it's been customised a bit since Stick owned it.

Is she sort of still like this BG as far as you know?
Here's a few shot's of her in Spender in all her glory from the IMCDb.org site on the web!

To the best of my knowledge, Spender has never been released on DVD so I can only conclude that the above sellers are selling illegal copies. Advertising such items is strictly against Proboards TOS, and indeed ours so I have removed both of the links above.
