Although not the usual type of actor or celebrity, but someone who had very well known late parents and I thought it might be appropriate - the son of Actress Diana Dors and actor Alan Lake - Jason Dors-Lake, has died at the age of 50 it has been announced this morning.
50 is no age but it did seem he led and uncoventional and some difficult times in his life but talked affectionately about his childhood too.

Very sad. Diana was only 52, Alan was only 43 and now their son at 52. What a tragic family.
RIP Jason.

Being given recreational drugs as a 5 year old can't have helped with avoiding addiction later in life. Sounds like it may have been suicide, which makes it seem worse if true.

So very sad. I can't imagine what it's like to lose both parents when you're a child, especially considering the fact that his dad took his own life. It must have affected his life and happiness to say the least.
It's a pity Alan Lake didn't have the strength to carry on with his life for his son's sake.
R.I.P. Jason.

From what I’ve read Dors and Lake were less than ideal parents.
