Smashing video I loved the Saab Sonnet & Audi particularly. I could listen to Bob Danvers-Walker all day.

All good stuff here personally liked the Cortina mk2, Ferrari and Hillmans on offer here. Around the time 60's cars started to look more modern and ready for the 70's styles that followed too! Thanks for sharing Saint mate.

Great stuff! If you follow the links on youtube there are several clips of the '60s and '70s Motor Shows at Earls Court, the voiceovers and background music are fantastic - very different times. I went to the shows in from '73 onwards with my Dad and Uncle until it moved to the NEC in Brum in '78, my eyes were out on stalks each year at all the new models on show, great memories Villain

Nice little film. Thanks for posting Saint.
I love these old Pathe films, but feel sad about them as well, as they show a past that we'll never get back.
The film shows various British car makers. Mostly gone now. As indeed has Earl's Court.
Interesting to see the early Hunter at 1:31. Until fairly recently I'd always believed that the Minx was the first "Arrow" model launched, with the Hunter following a year or so later. But late in life I've learned it was the other way round! Nonetheless, I wasn't aware that the first Hunters actually had the Minx style round headlight front.
Nice interlinked rotating action between the GT6 and the (I'm guessing) Triumph 2000 at 2:16. Looks pretty graceful. But certainly wouldn't sound it should one of the plinths fail!
And at 4:58, is there anyone more Ealing comedy authority figure looking than that old politician in the Jag at 4:58!
Marvellous stuff
