I had to take Bolly and her sister into town yesterday, so I gave some thought about what I could do before picking them up again at the end of the day. I parked up the Quattro in Westminster and went off for a walk to relive some golden memories of filming Ashes to Ashes a few years back. Almost immediately, I bumped into Sam and we headed off to Fenchurch East to see if much had changed since 2008-2010.
Just to whet your appetite, here is a time lapse of Fenchurch Nick 2008 - 2010
More to come later if you like.

Yup, it was a good day out Gene, and good to see your old stomping ground from your days with Bolly.
It is a shame to see that your Quattro has now been replaced with a Boris Bike.
"Raymondo, fire up the Boris Bike!" doesn't have quite the same impact does it?
Sam.

Amazing then and now The alignment is perfect. Interesting that the section of pavement is now a bike park. Looking forward to seeing more, Gene.

Here is another then...
Tim & Caroline Price cop it with a car bomb.
Massive changes to the landscape with this one. The pond has been extended to cover where the road used to be, which made getting into the exact spot very difficult.

The Saint Cheers lads. Here is another for you. Tim & Caroline collect the young Alex from school. Again, you can see the layout has changed with the road now becoming a dead end (no pun intended) Gene.

Those time lapses are brilliant, well worth the effort we went to in finding the right spot each time.

Sam. Absolutely. It was hard work at times to get the exact spot wasn't it because even in the few years that have passed since filming A2A, so much has changed. More to come later Gene.

Excellent work, Gene; real precision.
Amazing to see some of the changes in a relatively short time.
