Yes, very frustrating when that happens Gene! I have had a similar issue with Network in the past over DVDs/Blu-rays not being despatched because they are 'out of stock'. You just assume everything on their website should be in stock as it doesn't say anywhere if titles are not available when you put an order in. At least with other internet shopping sites like Amazon they usually warn you that titles are out of stock before you order them. Fortunately emailing them has worked for me and I have never had to ring them up - not so far anyway! I hope you get the rest of your order soon. Vi

I've given them a blast on Twitter now too. It's bad enough that you are lured into buying stuff they don't stock, but to then be rudely addressed by someone with a poor grasp of the English language has put me off forever. I'd honestly rather pay a few quid more in future and get them next day delivery on Amazon.

It's symptomatic of today's world, companies take the customer's money upfront and spend no resource on the back office operations to address customer issues/complaints, quite a short sighted approach in my opinion. I too have had items on back order from Network in the past, the first I knew of it was a note when only part of my delivery arrived, I think it took several weeks for the missing DVD to arrive. Well, despite assurances that the remainder of my order would be with me towards the end of last week, it arrived today. I emailed Network again last Friday evening to see why I had not received the DVD's. I got, and still have had no reply at all from Network. This evening, I received an email from Sony DADC to apologize (are they American or can't they spell?) for their late reply and to tell me the remainder of my order was posted on Friday.
No apology whatsoever for misleading customers into ordering items that were not in stock (by not displaying this information on the Network site.)
All in all a very disappointing experience, which frankly I've come to expect from Network. I won't be ordering from them again any time soon.
Gene.
P.S. (I will review my Hell Drivers Bluray once I've had chance to watch it)

It occurred to me the other day that I was still awaiting a series myself from Network. I paid them for about four series and a film, but they gave no explanation about the absence of one of the items when I got my delivery a few weeks back.
It's on the invoice, but they didnt really explain why it hadnt been included. I emailed them yesterday, and they confirmed receiving it today, but I'm still waiting for news of my series.

Phone them Charles and select option 2 from the choices (Network Enquiries) and don't let them fob you off. If you don't get a satisfactory answer, ask for your money back. Gene.

I took your advice this morning Gene and phoned Network up. (I still hadn't received a reply to my email yet.) Fortunatly the person I spoke to was more polite than the ignorant cow you dealth with recently. I gave him a lecture on his company’s poor service though, he said they were aware of the situation and were going to improve things. I hope so because I like the stuff Network sells.
Anyway the bloke said my outstanding item was being sent off today, and should arrive on Friday or shortly after. I said that was a coincidence, I contact them, and they just happen to be sending my order that same day.
I will see how they perform on their next sale. I hope The Saint and Vienna still keep us informed about them, because as I said I like the stuff they sell.
Charles.

Even when they have a sale on it is still worth looking elsewhere. The Hell Drivers Bluray I got from Network was £6 after 40% came off. On Amazon, the same Bluray version is £6.99. With next day delivery guaranteed I'd be happy to spend the extra 99p next time and get it from Amazon.
I hope you get the stuff you paid for now Charles. As you say, something of a coincidence that you call after all this time and suddenly it's on it's way....

Thought I'd mention that my DVD set arrived today. So it pays to get on their backs.
