Did you have the original network release from about 2003 Vi? If so is the newer resto any better? Del , the complete box set release seems just the same as the original DVD release back in 2004, which I still have in the stiff card boxes. The 2012 Series 1 DVD release may be different but I have the Blu-ray set. Vi

My order from Network just arrived surprisingly early this morning, as I only put the order in in two or three days ago.
Perhaps they're finally getting their act together at last.
I got the complete Edgar Wallace collection. Rumpole complete, and the complete Adam Dalgleish series by P.D. James.
The sale ends tomorrow afternoon I believe.
Charles.

Got my order quickly too, Charles However, the website was very slow when ordering on the first day of the sale. It seemed as if it would crash, perhaps because of the number of people ordering box sets on it at the time Vi

Looking forward to watching the stuff I've bought in the sale especially the Edgar Wallace mysteries sone of which I've not yet seen. They were all filmed at the small Merton Park studios in South London. Apparently a young John Thaw starred in the very last production made there before Merton closed down in the late sixties. I'm not sure if that ones in my set though.

I've got the Edgar Wallace set, John Thaw is in 2 of the films, 'Five To One' on the other day & 'Dead Man's Chest'. I bought it 2 or 3 years ago & still haven't seen all of them.
There are a few non Edgar Wallace films made at Merton Park Studios included in the set as extras, one of them, 'The Man In The Back Seat', is a corker.
