Clive Swift has died aged 82. Best known for playing Hyancith Bucket's husband in 'Keeping Up Appearances', he was a familiar face in film & tv.
RIP Clive.
With Peter Vaughan in 'A Warning To The Curious', one of the best pieces of tv ever made imo.

Sad news indeed. I know he'll be fondly remembered as Richard Bucket but he was much better than just that. A fantastic body of work left behind. A personal favourite was the Colin Welland penned "Roll On Four O'Clock" from the 1969 ITV Sunday Night Theatre series. If you've never seen this I seriously recommend it. It has a mass of famous faces including Colin Welland, George A Cooper, Bill Dean, Tony Melody etc. If you want to give it a viewing, you can do so for free over on the BFI Player - player.bfi.org.uk/free/film/watch-roll-on-four-oclock-1970-onlineYou don't get stuff like this on TV any more sadly. RIP Clive.

I saw him the other day starring in an episode of Hazell, the first one of S2 from 1979. RIP Clive Swift

Sad news. I know him best from his later career roles but he pops up in some good other stuff as described above. Had to empathise with his position as Hyacinth's put on husband. Get the feeling he would be happy having a few beers with Onslow rather than all the snobby stuff RIP Clive
