Merc were definitely sandbagging and who would be surprised if they are top of the time sheets this Saturday. Williams have got a bigger issues than the car. The whole place needs freshening up so expect that to take at least a season or so. McLaren have gone through organisation changes recently but will be looking to move forward this season. who knows what the Kimi effect will be at Sauber this year. I think the odd top ten will be on the cards for them. Renault I see them maintaining the status quo. I'm supporting Red Bull this season. I like the team and Honda and really hope they can take a bite out of the uber snore fest that is Merceds and Ferrari F1 needs a strong showing from them.

Yeah think Merc were definitely sandbaging and I also don't buy Toto Wolf's running scared of Ferrari talk too. McLaren and Renault could be the dark horses this season seemed to have a decent pre season and generally decent driver line ups but that can count for nothing when they're in the races. Still expect Haas to be ahead of them mind. Sadly think it is beginning of the end for Williams. True Del their problems aren't just related to those who make the car but management and budget's. Maybe dropping out of F1 and racing in other formulae could be a solution for them? They did alright with Renault and the BTCC after all. Yeah will probably be the Mercedes Ferrari snooze fest but I'll still tuning in.

Pathetic and obvious I know but best I could come up with.

Money plays such a huge of this sport now, must be very difficult to compete on the track unless you can financially as well.

Ross Brawn's new 2021 rules are rumoured to address that issue.

Yes I just seen it on the BBC site. Seems sudden how he's died and a big shame generally. RIP Charlie one of the leading figures of F1 and a major force along with Professor Sid Watkins in making the sport as safe as it is now.

Brilliant pics BG and thanks for the heads-up about this 'extra' with the race tickets... definitely hope to do this someday soon.
