I've just read on MSN a report from the Mirror that the tower block that was Nelson Mandela house in Only Fools and Horses is to be demolished and new flats built: >>> Nelson Mandela House <<<Whilst not the most attractive of buildings it is a shame that this iconic TV location may be lost. Sam.

I always wonder what happens to the longstanding tenants when this happens. I have a brother who lives in a tower block featured in a Minder episode, pokey & cold little flat that's freeezing cold in Winter, it cost him over £300,000. It's smaller than Del & Rodders place but still well out of their price range assuming that they haven't become millionaires.

Another iconic building going. I wonder as what they deem as affordable homes and for whom?

There was a feature on the imminent demolition of Harlech House on tonight's One Show. Paul Whitehouse was on plugging the OFAH musical.

Has anyone here seen the 'Only Fools' musical? Is it worth it?

It opens in February Dirty, co-written by Whitehouse & John Sullivan's son with songs co-written with Chas Hodges, though I can't stand musicals. Thank gawd they didn't do Minder The Musical though there's still time. The cast performed the opening & closing songs from the tv series at the end of the One Show, it was as you'd expect.
