You've got a knack for starting threads with difficult choices Windy Subject to change after I've given more thought, but right up there with the best of 'em...... Lamborghini Miura. I agree Gene, this is the one I keep coming back to whenever the question arises on car forums / in heated debate / the dark recesses of my mind! It's fitting too that the Miura you've posted is the genuine article from 'The Italian Job', chassis number 3586, a car elevated to almost mythical status until it surfaced a few years ago and subsequently fell into the hands of Cheshire Classic Cars (sadly now in administration). It's not often you ever see one in the flesh, but when you do your jaw drops in sheer awe of its sublime, dreamlike lines and proportions. I pretty much did this at the NEC show last year when I stood in front of a white one which was strangely tucked up in a corner of one of the halls, it was roped off and parked right next to a pillar but stone me it looked bloody awesome, it barely came up to my waist (I'm not exactly well off in the height department) and looked so glamourous, my mate Jon had to almost drag me away from it. The Miura aside, I'd have to include another Italian beauty in my ultimate choice - the even rarer Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale, of which only eighteen were ever made in 1967 / 68, I can't post smudges at the moment but google it.... and weep with joy. There are some short clips of a them on youtube as well, including a UK registered one, they're well worth checking out. I can't finish this post without adding a (greedy!) third choice and it has to be another Italian, although some would say it's not as beautiful as the Miura in the true sense of the word - the Maserati Ghibli Coupe of 1966 to 1972, if someone asked you to draw the outline of a typical '60s GT car this would be it. I'm off to find a darkened room now and have a lie down...! Villain Here she is Del

Of course there is only one car one could choose: Although I am quite partial to a Volvo P1800 as well: Lord B.
