I know that this may be almost impossible for some to answer but what is your very favourite song of all time? Although I am a massive Beatles fan and love all of their music my absolute favourite song is "Oliver's Army" by Elvis Costello and The Attractions. What is yours? Steed

A very hard choice and like Gene says, it'll probably change but this one is always in my top 5; I Am The Walrus by The Beatles.

An impossible task so I'll pick a song that my brother had on 7" & I first heard about 9 years old. The song has no special significance for me, I have no cds or records by this band, nor do I particularly like them & I'd even understand anyone who thought the song was cheesy crap, it's just stayed in my mind all these years for reasons I can't fathom. REO Speedwagon- 'Keep On Loving You'

Bloody hell Steed, I'd find it difficult enough to narrow my choices down to a Top Ten but most favourite? Difficult one as I think for most it varies with the mood you're in at the time and to a lesser degree how nostalgic you're feeling.
Today I've done a lot of driving so my current choice would be AC/DC's "Shoot To Thrill", after a quiet day at home tomorrow it may be something completely different.
Sam.

An incredibly difficult question and there could be about 20 I could pick. However I think I will go with Echo Beach by Martha and the Muffins. I loved it the instant I first heard it in the early weeks of 1980 and have ever since

Good idea for a thread, Mr Steed A difficult choice to make but I'll go for 'The Last Time' by the Rolling Stones I couldn't stop playing it when I first heard the track many years ago Vi

I find this almost impossible to answer. I think to pick a favourite by each band I liked would be easier but that would add up to quite a few. I must say I like all the tracks mentioned so far, all good tunes I'm going to give my vote to The Kinks - All Day And All Of The Night It's 3 minutes of perfection. Its got a great riff, is easy to sing along to and that guitar solo by Dave Davies is legendary.
