Yes, RIP Chas. The first couple they did weren’t bad, Strumming and Gertcha.

Best known for his joanna playing he also played bass with The Outlaws, one of Joe Meek's bands which also featured Ritchie Blackmore on guitar. Phil Lynott cited Chas as his main bass playing influence. 'Aint No Pleasing You' probably my favourite.
RIP Chas.

Very sad news. Chas and his musician partner Dave created the musical genre Rockney and produced some great classics. A fine singer, songwriter, session man and all round nice geezer

RIP Chas. Very sad to hear this. I saw them once in Eastbourne at the Congress theatre. They were absolutely brilliant and were on for a good couple of hours. Sideboard song was always my favourite.

Really sad to hear about this. I loved Chas 'n' Dave's cheerful Cockney music. I saw them once in Folkestone in the late eighties.
RIP Chas.
