I haven't seen the one with Dennis Trout for well over 40 years but remembered it as soon as it started playing. I remember the Say No To Strangers one due to The Sweeney episode "Thou Shalt Not Kill" featuring in it. Is it weird that films showing danger and the potential threat of death can bring back fond memories

Two other public information films I remember were Reginald Molehusband trying to reverse into a parking space in his 1100, and one about fire doors, advising you to not lock them or wedge them open

Couple of other road safety ones were a cartoon about not weaving in and out of different lanes, “the honking of the weaver bird” and one for not driving too close to the vehicle in front. I also vaguely remember one about crash helmets on bikes

Yes I think I remember the one about tailgating, and also about one about the dangers of driving when tired, with a side-boarded bloke in a Triumph Dolomite.
I also remember the one about playing near places like railways lines and electricity sub stations and some kid trying to retrieve his frisby which got stuck in a pylon. Bang! Then it was his sister shouting "Jimyyyy!!".............

I saw Roger Daltrey on The One show earlier, which reminded me of this-

Tell you another advert which was on quite a lot at the time and I thought was quite well done. One for Preston’s of Bolton, would have been about 79/80/81 ish from memory. It showed a young, presumably, engaged or thinking of getting engaged couple walking through Times Square in New York, and the Preston’s advert appeared in the display on one of the buildings. The backing music was very good.

Here it is.
Boodle & Dunthorne was another jewellers ad I remember because of the music, sung in the style of a crooner like Frankie Vaughan it went 'boo boo boo boo boodle boo boo boo boo boodle'. Always used to make me laugh that Preston & Bolton were in the name of a company selling glamour.
Two AA ads that spawned catchphrases
