Always liked this track. It's a good mix of piano and strings, blended with the era's contemporary electronic synth sound. The track was a famous no.2 hit that was kept off top spot by Joe Dolce's Shaddup You Face.

At the time, I liked 'All Stood Still'.
It was a very immediate song, and is overlooked now, doubtless being in the shadow of 'Vienna'.

Always liked a bit of Ultravox. My Dad had The Collection on Vinyl and used to play it a lot back in the early 80's on his Pioneer separates HiFi. I don't think there's a track on that Album I don't like, It's brilliant. Have also got Rage in Eden and Quartet somewhere on Vinyl. I had a recording of The Collection from my Dads LP on Cassette and in 1992, not long after passing my driving test, me and some pals went away on Holiday for a week in my first car and I played the Album to death. I'm not sure my mates thought much of it but I had a different taste of music to them, Always did. Great band and not much around these days that comes close. I did wonder if your username Vienna had anything to do with Ultravox
