Hope you enjoy the races lads and I know we'll get a good report and smudges. 43tv having representatives at two of the best races on the calendar is a result.

Enjoy fellas!! Sounds great! Went to 3 GP's myself in the past with my brother - 1999 Spain, 2000 Monza Italy, and 2001 Spa.

Spa is special. A fantastic race to do. I've done it quite a few times over the years and would go again without hesitation.

Spa looks the tits. That view of Eau Rouge has to be one of the best places to see an F1 car

It's unreal. We had a place at the foot of Eau Rouge one year and it's impossible to explain what it's like to see an F1 car take it flat out up that hill. After the race it's usual for the crowd to get on to the track at Spa and I've walked the circuit a few times. Eau Rouge is steeper than it looks on TV. The drivers have balls of steel to take it flat.
Just take a look at this for a Move. Mark Webber taking Alonso through Eau Rouge in the 2011 Spa GP.

I remember that move. One of the best I've seen for sure. I liked the weekend where Villeneuve binned a B.A.R flat out through there followed by his teammate.

I was about 50 feet away from Villenueve when he had that crash at Eau Rouge. Most of us feared the worst but amazingly he emerged relatively unscathed.

Which did you find the best Gerry? Ooh - difficult but Spa had the best action - we were at the 2nd Lesmo I think, (not sure if it was Eau Rouge) and were watching cars shoot up the hill type section. We were bussed in from our hotel which was over the border in Monschau Germany.
Monza was a memorable weekend trip too, cracking weather and an incredible crash, sadly resulting in the death of a marshall. And then it was just Schumacher and Hakkinen like a 2 horse race. We couldn't see the crash happen but wondered why initially the safety car was out. We watched a video recording of it later and couldn't believe the crash taking place!
