Excellent choices :)
(Someone had to pick the obvious ones!)
Have you ever watched The Boat That Rocked?

One of my favourite Hollies tracks....
I saw them live in concert years ago. They were fantastic. Clarkey had a problem with the mic during the opening track though and threatened to walk out but the sound technician sorted it quickly and they were good to go.
Gene.

If I could refer you to my post from an hour or so ago ... But er, yes! Snap! One of my favourites, too! I'm always so hesitant to go and see bands from a previous era live because they won't sound how I want them too and it'll make me sad! (That said, I've seen BJH live 11 times, Wishbone Ash half a dozen times and the Moodies and Focus a couple of times) But I've never seen a 60s band live. Threatening to walk out sounds a bit :/ silly - Not sure I approve of that. But if they sounded good, then that's great. We don't really have any big arenas down this way so I don't get to as many live shows as I'd like.

You got me there. I clicked on an email notification of a thread update and it took me to page 2 rather than your post on page 1. Great minds..

I realise I'm a few days late to the party on this one but must say there's been some fantastic tracks posted on this thread, the best one being Waterloo Sunset as it is so evocative of the 60's. Just got to add one from The Hollies that I previously posted on the "Now Playing" thread and that in my opinion is the best track ever from them (even though it was '72 and not the 60's): Sam.
