Well knock me down with a feather... my old '72 P6 V8 Auto is for sale again, I sold it to a nice lady in Coleshill, Warwickshire in late 2013 and it's found its way down to Oxfordshire and had the original black leather interior replaced with a beige one... www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1061834The raised digit number plates and 'S' wheel trims I fitted are still on it though. I can't remember what the mileage was when I sold it, I had it for three and a half years and put about three thousand miles on it I think. I'd be tempted to buy it back if I wasn't looking at other classic cars at the moment. I went to have a look at a Lotus Europa a while ago, hesitated on it then it sold, just my luck! Villain

Villain Lotus Europas were the ultimate flash mobile which us kids at school liked at the end of the 60s! Seem to remember them usually being yellow, used to see a few and they really stood out among the Anglias, 1100s, Minors, Minxes etc which you used to get running round Manchester then

'Lots of trouble usually yellow' to paraphrase a well known micky take! Spotted these two Mk1 Grannies for sale just now, I know classic car prices / perceived values have risen no end recently but I had no idea that good early Granadas were in the £20k+ bracket now... www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1055618www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1035296I wonder if they'll find buyers at those prices.../ Villain

You must be joking.
I know its like most things - worth what someone is willing to pay for it but that is just silly money. I'd sooner have the 1983 2.8i Ghia X they have on there for just under 6k.

I agree Gene, personally I think it's way too much for a Granada when you consider what that sort of money could also get you - even a solid, usable Jensen Interceptor could be had in the low £20ks or something like a very, very nice Lotus Europa or Esprit for instance. It's been a while since I looked at any Ford ads so was quite shocked at those two above, a mint P5B Coupe can be had for a lot less than that. Villain

Its gone crazy and I wont be paying that for old Fords. Someone's got to be paying it though as this isn't a rare case.

It's madness, a Ford Granada or a mint low mileage Bentley Turbo R for the same money - no contest!
But like Del says, people must be paying it!
