It does indeed. It's hard to believe some punters pay a fortune for that "Matte" finish now. Not for me though.... Gene. Cars finished in matt are absolutely horrible Worse still some old boy at work has paid 3 grand to have his Audi TT roadster foil wrapped. That really is tacky believe me His has been done in the same colour as the pic below What a horrendous thing to do to a Scirroco R

On a recent trip to Barcelona, I spotted this absolutely mint MG 1100. Given the registration, I should have bought it for Bolly One of 116,827 built between 1962 & 1971. Top Speed of 88 MPH from the 55BHP 1098CC Engine. Gene Hunt. Good spot Gene
I always thought it strange that the BMC / Leyland cars were rebadged for so many brands when they were all in the same group: Austin, Morris, MG, Wolseley, Riley.
Even more odd when the MG badge was attached to a family runabout like that, or the family saloon like the Magnette, when MGs were generally known for the open top sports cars like the MGA, MGB, and MGC. Mind you, worse was to come when the MG badge was put on the Metro and Maestro.
Thanks for sharing the pic.
Sam.

And they really scraped the bottom of the barrel when they put the MG badge on the Rover 75!

Looks like it's been dumped there judging by the parking.

No. It was stretched across two bays to avoid the typical Spanish touch parking problems. There was a car behind it just before I took the photo which was parked within the bay so there was plenty of room between.

Spotted a sad one today, this Viva left to rot in a front garden:
Shouldn't be allowed to leave them like that.
