A couple of forum members went to a showing of these lost shows earlier this year at an event in Birmingham. I'd like to see The Corpse Can't Play, the BBC ought to put it on BBC4 or iplayer as I can't see it being released on dvd when none of the other episodes in the series exist.

Yes I seem to recall The Corpse Can't Play was shown in November 2016, the first Kaleidoscope event in Birmingham that myself, Windy Miller and Del Boy went to. It was quite creepy. Neil Hallett, who was in a Sweeney episode called One Of Your Own, appeared in it.

2016, time really does fly. The Corpse Can't Play must be an adaptation of a John Burke story called 'Party Games' ( "A friendless boy gatecrashes a birthday party, with horrific consequences" ), I've got a few of the Pan Book Of Horror Stories & this story is in vol 6. I only remember it because I read it recently after watching 'The Frighteners' which John Burke edited the stories for. Btw, in this volume there is a story by John Lennon. I didn't realise until looking it up now that it is by THE John Lennon. The story is called 'No Flies On Frank' & lasts under 2 pages, it's written in Stanley Unwin type nonsense language.
