Don't know how I did this, but I completely forgot about the other fave of mine.
Rude Awakening.
I'm not entirely sure if the constant 'is this actually a dream or not?' passages actually do make some kind of logical sense in the real world. I'm assuming that when we first see him getting out of his Escort Mk2 estate, Denholm is already in his dream, and it only becomes reality when he wakes up and <spoiler> his missus. And the Lolly we see is the actual one. Presumably so, as the map James Laurenson hands Denholm is still on his person in his "next" dream.
But nonetheless, I love it. Denholm Elliott on great form as the unravelling estate agent, ever-changing Lucy Gutteridge costumes (and on one occasion, none at all) and a somewhat genuine bit of chill when Eleanor Summerfield over plinky cigarette box music says "You see, I'm dead. Aren't you?"
I don't really like the brain operation bit, as well I'm a bit of a wooss when it comes to scalpels and suchlike, but otherwise eminently watchable.
