Looks like someone has taken an angle grinder to an Allegro. I've been tempted to do the same many times over the years... Sam.

Believe me gents, the Ogle is much prettier in the flesh than an Allegro! Mention of the 'A word' in this house sends shivers down the spine of my missus, her Dad had one as a company car in the '70s, mustard yellow no less and the rear axle gave way eventually. Up until that point he used to leave it parked up unlocked hoping some poor sap would nick it but it never happened. Bless. Villain

Looks interesting that Ogle Allegro a bit like a bastard child of the original Allegro an enlarged Datsun 100A and one of those early Yank hatchbacks like the AMC Pacer etc. Here's another link on the web for the Ogle and thanks for sharing Villain. www.aronline.co.uk/ar-cars/ebay-find-of-the-week-ogle-sx1000/

One of my friends is currently restoring one of those Outspan minis. I'll have to see how he is getting on with it.

Interesting stuff BG, they featured in Miniworld mag many years ago, I can't remember how many were built so it'll be nice to see another one back on the road and on the show circuit. Villain
